Toronto police have deemed a suspicious package left at Broadview subway station to be safe and say a suspect is wanted for mischief.

Police said officers were called to the station at around 6:30 a.m. by a TTC employee for a suspicious incident. Officers arrived on scene and located a suspicious package.

Just after 11 a.m, police said the package was deemed to not be hazardous and that there is no threat to public safety. Officers said it was determined the package was deliberately placed at the station.
