Ottawa police investigating shooting at vacant Orléans home

Ottawa police say they are investigating after receiving reports of a shooting in the east end of the city.

Police say at around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning officers attended a home in the 1600 block of Aspen Village Circle in Orléans.

According to police, a bullet was found lodged in the outer wall of the house and shell casings were found in front. The house was vacant at the time.

There were no reports of injuries as a result of the alleged shooting and there have been no suspects arrested.

The guns and gangs unit has taken over the investigation.
