A Manitoba man has been arrested and charged by Ontario Provincial Police after a Thursday afternoon traffic stop uncovered a massive amount of contraband cigarettes.
The bust on Highway 17 west of Dryden uncovered 1,250 cartons of unmarked cigarettes, with an estimated $75,000 value.
The driver, Vincenzo Decaria, 62, of Elie, faces charges of trafficking in contraband tobacco, possessing unmarked cigarettes for the purpose of sale, and possesion of unmarked cigarettes.

Decaria was released on a promise to appear in Ontario court April 4.
