Kingston Police arrived at a Rose Abbey Drive home near McCallum Street in Kingston’s east end a little after 12 p.m. today.
An individual had barricaded themselves in the house.
The tactical squad was on scene and entered the home after several hours.

Kingston police were asking the public to use alternative routes and stay away from the immediate area but said there was no danger to the public.
A little after 4:30 p.m. Kingston Police sent out an advisory saying the incident was resolved.
