The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) say they have arrested a 27-year-old man who was wanted in connection with the city’s most recent homicide.
Robin Godfrey, 32, died as a result of a gunshot wound in the open courtyard of the apartment/condo complex at 219 Ave. K S. on the evening of April 20.
Police issued an arrest warrant for Jamie Terrence Halkett, 27, on Thursday. As of 6:25 p.m., he had been located outside the city and taken into custody.

Investigators said Halkett is known to have previous associations to Saskatoon street gangs.
Halkett was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breach of parole at the time of the homicide, according to SPS.
