The 23-year-old pedestrian who was struck by a car in the Plateau Saturday, has died from her injuries.
Police confirmed the death late Monday night.
Police say the incident occurred around 10:45 Saturday night on Saint-Denis Street, near Duluth Avenue.
The victim was jaywalking outside the pedestrian walkway when a 51-year-old driver hit her. The man was treated for shock at the scene.

Police say the driver won’t face charges as he was not impaired and followed road rules.

The young woman is the seventh person killed by a vehicle on Montreal streets in 2019.
