Man shot in head inside Langruth, Man. home

A man was airlifted to hospital Monday after being shot in the head inside his home.

RCMP went to the home on 1st Street NW in Portage La Prairie around 4:30 a.m. Monday morning.

They said a 22-year-old man from Langruth, Man., was shot inside his home.

According to a spokesperson, he was airlifted by STARS Air Ambulance and taken to a hospital in Winnipeg.

The man remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
