Calgary police say woman reported missing June 14 found safe

After asking the public for help on Monday, Calgary police said Wednesday a woman who disappeared from the community of Douglasglen over the weekend had been found safe.

The 29-year-old was last seen at her home on Friday.

Police said they were concerned for her welfare.

Calgary police said Wednesday that investigators found the 29-year-old and that “she is safe.”

Police thanked the public for its help.

“Information from the public often plays a crucial role in moving investigations forward and we could not do our job as effectively without the help and support of Calgarians,” CPS said in a news release.

Police said the matter is not criminal in nature and no further information would be released.
