Last Tuesday morning, a stolen truck was spotted driving erratically along Deerfoot Trail near Glenmore Trail S.E.

The HAWC helicopter followed the pickup as it sped through traffic, ending up on residential streets where it narrowly missed some parked cars and slammed into six others.

Crown prosecutors say the truck reached speeds of up to 110 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
