One of West Vancouver’s most talked about residents is still hanging out at Ambleside beach.

A young elephant seal is still shedding its fur in a natural process known as a “catastrophic molt”.

It’s believed the molting process is almost over, but the seal has given a lot of people a first-hand look at our local marine life.
