Right now, two high schools in Surrey are being forced to run separate student schedules, and parents wanted to make overcrowding an election issue.

The city may have the drawings and plans to charge ahead on a new school at the corner of 168th and 24th Avenue, but they are still waiting for a cash commitment from the province to build the school.
