The search didn’t turn up any weapons.
The situation ended around 7:30 a.m., there were no injures reported and no one was arrested.
Ethan Bilodeau lives in the complex, and tells 980 CFPL that the area is frequented by police.
“Last year someone got stabbed in the middle apartment, so I’ve see police cars here before, there’s a lot of drugs at this apartment complex too, but it’s the first time I’ve seen them in the armoured gear.”
Few details have been released about the nature of the current investigation.
Police are expected to remain on scene for an extended part of the day while they investigate.
