The Mark S. Burnham Provincial Park just on the outskirts of Peterborough was closed Tuesday following the discovery of a body.
Peterborough County OPP were called to the park on Highway 7 just east of the city’s limits around 11 a.m.

An OPP forensics identification vehicle was also at the scene.
OPP say the body of a male was found around 10:45 a.m.
Foul play is not suspected. The coroner’s office is also investigating, police said.
The park reopened early in the afternoon.
