Vancouver police say a violent sex offender who walked away from his Vancouver halfway house has been arrested.
James Larry Moyah, 45, was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large and breaking the conditions of his statutory release.
Police said a Good Samaritan recognized Moyah in the Downtown Eastside and called police, leading to his arrest Thursday.
Moyah is a two-time federal offender, and was finishing his sentence for aggravated assault.
