The residents in Niverville have spoken and they want retail cannabis.
The town held their pot plebiscite Tuesday night with more than 1,500 people casting a ballot.

863 residents said yes, while 719 were against retail pot.

Some said a cannabis store would help economic growth, while others were concerned over safety of children with easier access to marijuana.
Campaign signs protesting both opinions have been scattered across the town for weeks.
