Residents off Grand Isle, Louisiana, were treated to an amazing sight as a large waterspout developed off shore.
There are two types of waterspouts: fair weather waterspouts and tornadic waterspouts.

Fair weather waterspouts are not associated with thunderstorms, but rather form from cumulus clouds.
