PEACHLAND, BC — The wet weather didn’t put a damper on the third annual Naked Ziplining fundraiser at the Zip Zone in Peachland.
The event was held Thursday under drizzly, cold conditions but that didn’t deter the 62 participants who had to raise a minimum of $250 each for breast cancer research.

In all, they managed to raise more than $30,000. All of the proceeds go to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
The intent was to shoot for a world record but organizers decided not to go ahead because of the weather but vow to try again next year.
The record stands at 183 naked zipliners, set in the U.S.
