Stewart will also meet and discuss a number of issues, like country of origin labelling legislation, with the Midwestern Association of State Departments of Agriculture.

In 2012, total two-way agriculture trade between Canada and the US was nearly 42 billion dollars, with Saskatchewan sending more than 500 million dollars in products to North Dakota, Minnesota and Colorado.
