Gang ties suspected in Moose Jaw drug bust

RCMP in Moose Jaw are exploring a link between a drug bust Friday and the Native Syndicated Street Gang.

The investigation comes after Moose Jaw police executed a search warrant Friday, seizing marihana, cocaine and cash.

Eight people are in custody following the raid.

Following the raid, one teenager was charged with possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking.

Another teenager was chared with possession of marihuana and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

A number of others were also charges with drug-related offences.

Police say at least three people arrested are believed to have ties to the Native Syndicate Street Gang.

The investigation continues.
