Police searching for Edmonton senior with dementia

EDMONTON – Edmonton police are asking for the public’s help in finding an 87-year-old woman who was reported missing around noon on Wednesday.

Edith Delaronde, a resident of a senior’s complex on Haddow Close in the southwest neighbourhood of Terwillegar, was reported missing to police by a family member.

The senior has been diagnosed with mild to mid-level dementia.

She is Caucasian and described as 5′ 0″ tall, 135 lbs, with short white curly hair and a distinctive curvature to her back. She may be wearing a black trench coat, skirt, blouse and slippers for footwear.
