Lennox and Addington County OPP say they have recovered the body of a missing Tyendinaga Township man.
According to OPP, 82-year-old Heinz Wittenborn left his home on Monday and didn’t return.
He was last seen leaving his home on Hinchey Road at around 3 p.m. wearing blue jeans.

On Tuesday, OPP say they recovered the body of a man in a body of water near Wittenborn’s residence.

Police have since confirmed the man to be Wittenborn.
OPP have not released any information about cause of death.
