A Nakusp man charged with assault after a recent home invasion is due in court this week.
Twenty-six year old James Fraser faces several charges after a violent assault on February 11.
The 52-year old male victim was sleeping in his house when someone broke in and attacked him.
Fraser was arrested during an unrelated police investigation. He is in custody awaiting trial.
