SASKATOON – A trial will be held later this year for a Saskatoon man charged after a letter carrier was attacked by two dogs.
The 59-year-old postal worker had to be treated at hospital after the attack on May 31.

Police shot one of the animals while the other canine was returned to Samuel Northey.
He’s pleaded not guilty to a charge under the city’s dangerous animals bylaw of owning a dog that attacked a person without provocation.
Northey’s trial is set for November 22.
