Peel Regional Police say a 26-year-old woman has died after she was struck by a vehicle in Brampton on Thursday.
Emergency crews were called to Winston Churchill Boulevard north of Steeles Avenue West at around 12:16 a.m.
Police said the vehicle was pulled over to the side of the road and a woman, who was the passenger, got out of the vehicle to get something.

The woman was then struck by another vehicle that drove by, police said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said no charges have yet been laid.
Winston Churchill Boulevard was closed in both directions between Steeles Avenue West and Embleton Road.
