Saskatchewan’s Tatiana Maslany heads to ‘Parks and Recreation’

TORONTO — Canadian actress Tatiana Maslany has signed on for a guest role on the comedy series Parks and Recreation.

The Regina-born star of the Toronto-shot sci-fi series Orphan Black will play a love interest for Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari) in the fifth and sixth episodes of the new season.

The show returns on Sept. 26.

Maslany, 27, won both a Critics’ Choice Television Award and Television Critics Association Award this year for her work on Orphan Black.

Her film Cas & Dylan, directed by Jason Priestley, will be showcased at the Atlantic Film Festival and Whistler Film Festival.
