Thorne is residing in the heritage neighbourhood at a residence that provides supervision.

Police say the 36-year-old has a history of committing violent sexual against both men and women with his victims varying in age.

Thorn is not allowed to be near or around any children under the age of 18 unless he is accompanied by a responsible adult.

Police do not want the public to take any forms of vigilantism against him.
