Suspicious death in Edmonton’s Balwin neighbourhood non-criminal: EPS

Edmonton police say a suspicious death in northeast Edmonton at the end of November was non-criminal in nature.

Police were called to a home near 130 Avenue and 69 Street around 7:40 p.m. on Nov. 28 for a weapons complaint. Officers found a 38-year-old man in medical distress.

Paramedics took the man to the hospital where he later died.

An autopsy was performed on Dec.1 and Edmonton’s medical examiner determined the death to be accidental and non-criminal. Police said they would not be releasing any further information about the man or the cause of death.
