Hwy. 35 collision south of Lindsay sends 4 to hospital: City of Kawartha Lakes OPP

Four people were taken to hospital following a collision on Highway 35 south of Lindsay on Friday morning.

Around 10 a.m. emergency crews initially responded to a reported head-on collision on Highway 35 highway at the intersection of River Road, just a few kilometres south of Highway 7.

When crews arrived they discovered three vehicles involved in the collision.

City of Kawartha Lakes OPP say four people were taken to Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay with non-life threatening injuries.

The highway was closed with detours in place for approximately four and a half hours as OPP investigated but has since been reopened.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
