WINNIPEG – Police are still searching for suspects after a man was killed in a confrontation Friday morning in the North End.
Investigators said 25-year-old Phillepp Rick George Amos died from stab wounds and blunt force trauma.
A witness told Global News it was a stabbing and multiple males took off on bikes after the assault.
A 38-year-old man was taken to hospital in stable condition.
The attack happened about 4 a.m. Friday in a courtyard of a Manitoba Housing complex on Robinson Street near Flora Avenue.

Officers were speaking to people at the scene, seeking witnesses.
