At teenager was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after an overnight shooting in Toronto, officials say.
In a tweet, Toronto police said they were called to the area of Keele Street and Sheppard Avenue West for reports someone had been shot.
The call came at around 12:42 a.m., police told Global News.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound, officers said. He was rushed to hospital via an emergency run.

Toronto paramedics told Global News the victim was a teenager who suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police said the firearm was recovered — the investigation is ongoing.
