We have a fine Fall weekend ahead. Enjoy!
As for today, it took the first half of the day for the cloud and fog to dissipate throughout many parts of the Central/Northern Okanagan and the Shuswap, but now it is mostly clear for all areas.
Thanks to a very stagnant upper level blocking pattern (the Omega Block), this weekend will be just like today with morning cloud and afternoon sun, with slightly more cloud on Sunday.
Temperatures will be above seasonal with highs between 12-15C for the Central/North areas, and 13-17C for the South. - IBC estimates $230M in insured damage claimed from Edmonton storms
- Calgary area ‘very uniquely situated’ for study of hailstorms, says researcher
- Saskatchewan boosts disaster aid in response to storm-packed spring and summer
- Flooding damage closes Telus World of Science for months, 68% of staff laid off
Hope you can join us tonight at 5pm, 6:30pm and 11pm.
