Port McNeill residents have cast their vote for a new mayor and council in the 2022 B.C. municipal election.
Global News projects that James Furney was elected mayor with 58.6 per cent, or 573, votes.
Also elected were incumbent councillors Ann-Marie Baron and Shelley Downey, and newcomers Ruel Leighann and Michelle Carson.
