A four-vehicle crash closed off a stretch of Highway 403 for hours and sent four people to hospital with injuries, according to OPP.

Police spokesperson const. Conrad Vitalis says the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. and involved two commercial vehicles.

“Several of the vehicles sustained serious damage, ” said Vitalis.

Westbound lanes of Highway 403 from Paris Road to Oak Park Road were reopened just before 9:30 p.m. following an investigation.
