York Regional Police say they are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle rider in King Township on Monday morning.
Emergency crews were called to Jane Street between Lloydtown-Aurora Road and Davis Drive at around 7:55 a.m. for reports of a serious collision.

Police said the motorcyclist had collided with a pickup truck hauling a large trailer that was making a left turn out of a private driveway.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead on scene.
A driver and a passenger in the pickup truck both remained at the scene of the collision, investigators said. Neither were injured in the crash, police added.

Roads are closed in the area and police are advising motorists to take another route as the area will be closed for most of the day.
