KELVINGTON, Sask. – An animal cruelty investigation has been launched after a dog died from poisoning in Kelvington, Sask.
The owner had let the dog out of a residence around 8:30 p.m. on Monday.

When it returned about 15 minutes later, it passed away.
It was later determined the dog had been poisoned.
Mounties are asking anyone who may have any information about this crime to contact them at 1-306-327-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
