A Revelstoke teen has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder involving a shooting last week northeast of Edmonton. The two victims are also from Revelstoke.
RCMP have told the victim’s families that the men were shot while playing a video game and never saw it coming.
Jimmy Armillotta, 27, and Fil Kedzior, 21, were found dead early in the morning at a Cold Lake, Alberta home October 14th.
Brandon Cruickshank, 18, has been charged with their murders. Another former Revelstoke man was questioned by police as a witness but then released without charge.
Police say the accused was a resident of the home where the killings happened, but haven’t released further information about their investigation into the murders.
Armillotta’s sister Jeanine told the Edmonton Journal that her brother was a kind person and he was visiting friends in Cold Lake before moving to Terrace for a new job.
Cruickshank will answer the charges October 27th in Cold Lake via video link.
