KELOWNA — RCMP have identified the 32-year-old victim in Saturday’s suspicious death on Highway 33 in Kelowna’s Rutland neighbourhood.
“The man found deceased has been identified as Christopher Ausman of Kelowna,” according to Kelowna RCMP Cst Kris Clark.

Police are now asking for the public’s help for information, asking any witnesses to step forward.
The Kelowna RCMP Serious Crime Unit is continuing to investigate.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
Family and friends have set up a memorial page on facebook for Ausman.
Friends describe him as an outgoing person who always went out of this way to help others.
