WOLLASTON LAKE, Sask. – A suspicious death investigation is underway in northern Saskatchewan. Wollaston Lake RMCP were called to the community’s health centre around 11 a.m. on Sunday for a report of an unconscious man.
Jonathon St. Pierre, 24, had been brought to the centre with unknown injuries and was pronounced dead by medical staff a short time later. The cause of death has not been released and Mounties are treating it as suspicious.

An autopsy is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.
The major crime unit from Regina, Fond du Lac RMCP, forensic identification services from Prince Albert and Tisdale and the office of the chief coroner are assisting with the investigation.
