SASKATOON – A man will be appearing before a judge after he was found with a concealed weapon. It started when members of the Saskatoon police guns and gangs unit spotted four men who appeared to be displaying gang paraphernalia.
They were walking in the 1700-block of 22nd Street West around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers detained one of the men as they believed he was concealing a weapon.
A search found a machete in his pants.

The 20-year-old man, who has not been named, is facing charges of carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
He will appear in Saskatoon provincial court on Thursday afternoon.
