Woman seriously injured in Saskatoon hit and run

Saskatoon police are looking for the vehicle involved in a hit and run that left a woman with serious injuries. File / Global News

SASKATOON – A woman was seriously injured after a hit and run in Saskatoon. It happened around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Avenue H North and 31st Street East.

Officers believe the 24-year-old woman was on foot when she was struck by a vehicle, which then fled the scene.

She was taken to hospital with what police say were serious, but non-life threatening injuries. There is no word on here current condition.

Police believe the vehicle involved is a white, four-door car with minor front end damage and/or damage to the windshield or side mirrors.
