TORONTO – Two men are dead and another is in hospital after three separate shootings in Toronto.

The first happened Friday afternoon in the city’s downtown entertainment district, and police later confirmed that one person — said to be a man in his 20s — had died.

Police said witnesses told them that one car pulled up to another, upwards of 10 shots were fired, and then the vehicle took off.

Investigators were looking for a silver car — either an Infiniti or a Lexus.
