Two Belizean teenagers have been charged in the slaying of a Canadian director found dead in the Central American Country earlier this week.
Matthiew Klinck, a 37-year-old Quebec native, was found stabbed to death outside his home, which had been robbed, in Selena, Belize on Monday.
Police detained a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy for questioning on Wednesday. They were formally charged with murder on Friday.

Police have identified the 19-year-old as a Belizean labourer named Brandon Anderson.
The name of the 16-year-old, also Belizean, could not be provided due to his age.
Klinck had been living in Belize for several years and had founded a production company called Make-Belize films. He produced and directed the telenovela ‘La Isla Bonita’ and directed the Creole-language thriller ‘Curse of the Xtabai,’ the first feature length dramatic movie made entirely in Belize.

Before moving to Belize, Klinck produced and directed the films Greg & Gentillon as well as Hank and Mike.
