Police have arrested two men accused of stealing 100,000 diapers from a Wisconsin charity.
Police say more than C$60,000 worth of diapers were stolen from Fox Cities Diaper Bank in Menasha, Wisc., between Jan. 3 and Feb. 13.

The charity provides diapers for more than 870 low-income families per month.
Police say several tips alerted them to suspicious activity at Valley Packaging Industries, the company contracted to store the donations Fox Cities Diaper Bank receives.
“Two separate citizen tips that resulted after the media release of the theft, and again both of them from kind of different ends of the spectrum met in the middle perfectly and really were both important tips,” said Scott Blashka of the Fox Crossing Police Dept.
Jason Havel, a manager at Valley Packaging, was questioned by police and later arrested.

Police also took a former employee of the company, John Forbes, into custody on Feb. 3.
Investigators say they’re recommending charges of felony theft. The men have yet to be charged and are being held in the Winnebago County Jail.
Following the disappearance of the 1,800 boxes of diapers, Amazon and Huggies came to the aid of the charity by each donating 100,000 diapers.
Police have since retrieved eight pallets of the stolen diapers.
Blashka says it appears the items were stolen so they could be sold for cash.

The arrests are just the latest in a string of diaper theft schemes.
Last month, three Rhode Island men were arrested in connection to $90,000 worth of diapers being stolen from a shipping truck.
In Florida, a 19-year-old man was fatally shot by a customer outside a Walmart for allegedly trying to steal two carts full of diapers.
