Teen killed in rollover near Maymont, Sask.

MAYMONT, Sask. – A sixth person has been killed this long weekend on Saskatchewan roads.

On Saturday afternoon, Warman RCMP responded to a rollover north of Maymont.

A 17-year-old Speers, Sask. male was ejected from the vehicle and declared dead at the scene.

His name has not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.

Also Saturday, a 24-year-old man was killed after a hit and run on the Poundmaker First Nation.

Then on Sunday, a rollover in Swift Current claimed the life of a semi driver.

In Regina, a 20-year-old woman was killed Sunday morning after the vehicle she was driving was t-boned by an alleged drunk driver.

Also on Sunday, a single vehicle crash near Crooked River claimed the lives of two men.

Police are also investigating two possible drownings.

Late Monday morning, RCMP were called to the Big River First Nation after the body of a man was found in a lake and late Monday afternoon, police were called to Echo Lake Beach after a man struggling to stay afloat disappeared.
