Thursday night’s lightning storm made for a frightening near-disaster for one Vancouver Island family that felt the lightning hit.

CCTV video released Thursday captured the moment lightning struck a fountain in Wroclaw, Poland, as children played nearby. No one was injured in the incident last Saturday at Wroclaw’s Centennial Hall Multimedia Fountain, but the lightning strike did cause “significant damage” to the fountain, according to the Centennial Hall.
