Hamilton man ID’d as victim of fatal shooting in Toronto

TORONTO – A 27-year-old Hamilton man has been identified as Toronto’s seventh homicide of the year.

Police say Hung Pham was found seated in a car at 10:30 p.m. Sunday near Evans Avenue and Brown’s Line in the city’s west end, suffering from obvious gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination has determined the cause of death to be multiple gunshots.

Police have said they believe the shooting was a targeted killing and they are searching for a suspect vehicle described as a silver two-door car.
