YORKTON, Sask. – A sobriety check in Yorkton, Sask. over the weekend has led to a drug bust.
Early Sunday morning, a Regina man was part of a traffic stop to check if he was driving impaired. The investigator noticed the smell of marijuana when the driver opened his window.

A search of the driver and SUV by Mounties turned up over $2,000 in cash and six pounds of marijuana.

The 32-year-old man was arrested and is facing possession for the purpose of trafficking and proceeds of crime charges.
He is scheduled to appear in a Yorkton courtroom on Monday.
