PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A man accused of sexually assaulting and burning a homeless woman in Prince Albert, Sask., will remain in custody.
Leslie Black, 29, did not request bail during a hearing in court Wednesday.

Black is charged with attempted murder and aggravated sexual assault of Marlene Byrd in the June 1 incident outside a community centre.
The 47-year-old woman was so badly burned she had to have both legs amputated and has undergone facial reconstruction surgery.
Byrd had been in hospital in Edmonton but has since been transferred to a hospital in Saskatoon to continue recovering.
