15-year-old girl charged in Hague, Sask. cocaine bust

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – Police have charged two men and a 15-year-old girl after a weekend drug bust in Saskatchewan. Members of the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) led the investigation.

Officers conducted a traffic stop at a gas station in the town of Hague, Sask. around 9:20 p.m. on Aug. 22 after observing behaviour consistent with drug trafficking. Three Prince Albert residents from the vehicle were arrested.

As a result of the investigation, police seized 364.7 grams of powder cocaine, 233.9 grams of crack cocaine and a small amount of marijuana.

ISET estimates the street value of the drugs to be $60,000.

Two men, ages 18 and 20, and a teenage girl now face the charge of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

The teenager is expected to make her first court appearance on Sept. 9 in Prince Albert provincial court while the men are scheduled to appear on Sept. 10.
