RCMP say a man and youth waved what appeared to be a long barrel gun at another driver before confronting him Thursday afternoon.
It happened at approximately 1:30 p.m. It was reported that two people in a grey Kia waved what looked like a rifle at another driver and then confronted him in an alley in the Bower neighbourhood at Boyce Street. There was no physical altercation.

The man and youth went back into their car and were stopped by RCMP at the Bower Mall.
Believing there could be risk to public safety, officers completed a high-risk arrest of the pair.
The two were taken into custody and a replica BB gun was seized.
No one was injured.
Charges are pending. RCMP say the adult will be named once charges have been laid but the youth will not be identified because they cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
